LEDS Vehicles Product: DevOps and Software Development
Providing DevOps, front-end and back-end software development support on the Vehicles product within LEDS — the Law Enforcement Data Service replacing the Police National Computer.
The Challenge
LEDS is replacing the Police National Computer and becoming the system of record for major policing datasets. The Vehicles product must support searches on registered keeper, usual location, theft status, insurance and plate identity. Delivery sits within an existing live system, requiring continuous enhancement without disrupting operational law enforcement services.
Our Solution
Providing DevOps, front-end and back-end software development support on the Vehicles product within LEDS, part of the National Law Enforcement Data Programme. Supporting iterative delivery on a live platform that already has products in service, working within established government delivery standards.
The Outcome
The Vehicles product supports operational access to core vehicle data including keeper, location, theft and insurance information. Work sits within LEDS, the replacement for the Police National Computer, delivering improved law enforcement capability through a modernised, trusted data platform.
